remember in the movie, “The Sound of Music,” when the old
nun told Maria, "When the Lord closes a door, somewhere
He opens a window?" Well, I fell like the whole side of my
house just fell off! Not many days after Kenny died, the
first foal to come along just happened to be a beautiful
palomino colt. I was happy that a window had been opened for
someone else, but I never dreamed it would turn out to be
for me. One thing led to another and an idea was born, and
BOOM! I want you to meet the sunshine that took away my
clouds, THE MALIBU KID! His other mom is Sandy Ellis, who is
also very confident that he will achieve greatness by his
own merits. This baby is only a month old, and just look at
him! He will stay with Sandy until he is weaned early this
fall. The “Kid” will then come home to the “old board barn,”
where his daddy grew up. Our FARM has another STAR!!!!!!
Who believed that wishing on stars is just for children? NOT
ME!!! You better know these moms are crazy with a
camera, so please don’t get board with the pictures to come!
I need pictures of all the Kenny kids from you too, so we
can update our family album! |
